The project aims to develop a prototype diesel-electric parallel-series hybrid bus and evaluate the performance and fuel efficiency of the prototype against public utility driving behavior. Eventually, the working prototype will serve as a showcase demonstration unit operating in Metro Manila public utility bus route with reduced fuel consumption and lesser emissions.
